Summary

Eurasia Foundation (EF), a US-based international development organization promoting civil society strengthening, good governance, and economic development, is accepting applications for an expert to design and develop a curriculum for online course on Advocacy Skills for Disability Rights Organizations. EF seeks individuals with experience and expertise in ‘Advocacy Skills’ and ‘Partnership’. The expert is responsible for identifying the key concepts of the courses, and designing and producing the content.

Duties

  • Design content and course structure with the aim of creating an engaging online learning environment for remote educators;
  • Determine weekly topics and subtopics and learning goals for each week;
  • Develop weekly content, including activities, main readings, forum discussions and weekly assignments;
  • Work with the program staff to revise the content if necessary to ensure that content is clear, technically accurate, and engaging;
  • Provide clear assignment policies, expectations, and due dates.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in education, social sciences, management or a related area required;
  • Combination of education and years of experience acceptable;
  • Strong demonstrated experience and background in education and resource mobilization;
  • Experience with developing online learning pedagogy, particularly towards social learning and networking in the online format;
  • Ideal candidates have relevant working experience in Iran;
  • Fluency in written and spoken Persian/Farsi is a plus.
