Summary

EF is seeking an expert to facilitate online courses for a period of five to seven weeks on social entrepreneurship to advance the rights of persons with disabilities (PwD). The individual should have experience and expertise in social entrepreneurship and social enterprises and how they can enhance the rights of persons with disabilities. The expert is responsible for facilitation of the key concepts of the courses to assist participants in developing a social enterprise project idea applicable to advancing the rights of PwDs.

Duties

  • Instruct distance-learning participants for five to seven-week courses and respond to participants and staff inquiries within a 24- 48 hours period
  • Assist participants in developing a social enterprise project idea applicable to advancing the rights of PwDs
  • Seed discussion questions in forums, answer forum questions pro-actively and help teachers by providing advice and resources
  • Introduce additional resources to course participants as secondary reading materials
  • Evaluate the pre and post course exams in order to ascertain the knowledge gained by each course participant
  • Provide an assessment framework for the course, including recommendations for changes in content, structure, and activities
     

Qualifications

Education: Minimum Master’s degree or equivalent in education, social sciences, management, or a related area required.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience with teaching online learning pedagogy, particularly towards social learning and networking in the online format.

Other: Ideal candidates have relevant working experience in Iran; Fluency in written and spoken Persian (Farsi) is required. Fluency in written and spoken English is a plus.
