Summary

The EF Online Advocacy program is seeking an advocacy expert to design and develop the curriculum on Negotiation and Conflict Resolution to empower civil society leaders and campaigners to solve societal problems.

Duties

  • Design content and course structure with the aim of creating an engaging online learning environment for remote educators based on program objectives; 
  • Determine weekly topics and subtopics and learning goals for each week;
  • Develop weekly content, including activities, main readings, forum discussions and weekly assignments;
  • Curriculum should help students understand the basic tenets of negotiation, including strategizing, framing, and planning organizations
  • Work with the program staff to revise the content if necessary to ensure that course material is clear, technically accurate, and engaging;
  • Curriculum should include a pre-and post-course questionnaire to measure learning outcomes; 
  • Further information about curriculum design expectations will be discussed during the interview process.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in the social sciences, management or a relevant field;
  • Having work experience or strong knowledge of Negotiation and Conflict Resolution
  • Minimum five years of experience in politics of risk management, collation building, and/or grassroots organizing and movement building;
  • Strong demonstrated experience and background in professional trainings; 
  • Experience with developing online learning pedagogy, particularly towards practical social learning, networking, and inclusivity; 
  • Ideal candidates have relevant working experience in Farsi-speaking countries;
  • Fluency in written and spoken Persian/Farsi is a plus.
  • Previous advocacy working experience in Middle East is preferred.
