Summary

Under the supervision of the Program Officer, the PA plays a key role in supporting the administration of Eurasia Foundation’s programs.

Duties

  • Coordinate the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages of activities such as capacity building training, online workshops, and small grants
  • Provide substantial support in drafting narrative quarterly and final reports
  • Support activities related to building and maintaining a virtual network of beneficiaries
  • Provide administrative support for program-related procurements, draft selection memos and consultant contracts, and prepare payment requests in EF’s accounting system
  • Assist with arranging internal meetings as well as external program communications

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least two years of program backstopping experience, particularly for USG-funded programs. Familiarity with Central Asia and other countries in the Eurasia region.
  • Requirements: Familiarity with program design and evaluation as well as performance-based management tools. Exceptional analytical, organizational, written and oral communication skills. Ability to speak Russian. Uzbek language is a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in international affairs, political science, area studies or another relevant field required. Master’s degree preferred.
