Summary

Eurasia Foundation (EF), a US-based international development organization promoting civic engagement and citizen participation, is accepting applications for a Program Intern. The Program Intern will provide administrative support to the Online Youth Leadership Program. S/He will be collaborating with program associates to write progress reports, design and create content for social media campaigns, monitor website analytics, and conduct surveys.   

Duties

  • Assist with the preparation of program reports and proposals; 
  • Conduct research on Youth Leadership training approaches and trends; 
  • Provide administrative support to the program team, including preparing excel sheets on program’s progress, monitoring progress of the workshops, and following up with the course attendees; 
  • Assist with creating content for the social media campaigns; 
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned. 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in international development or related field; 
  • Strong knowledge of and interest particularly in the areas of youth leadership and civic education; 
  • Strong communication, research and writing skills; 
  • Strong analytical thinking and report writing skills; 
  • Exceptional planning and organization skills; 
  • Computer proficiency and experience using MS Office required; 
  • Familiarity with social media tools, blogging and content management systems such as WordPress, Drupal and Moodle; 
  • Experience with graphic design is preferred; 
  • Fluency in English is required; fluency in Farsi/Dari is a plus.
