Uzbekistan Program Intern

Eurasia Foundation has an immediate opening for a Program Intern focusing on Uzbekistan Social Entrepreneurship Online project. The Intern will work with the program staff and assist in administering the online courses and updating program’s social media pages in the Uzbek language. Moreover, the Intern will assist with preparation of newsletters and quarterly reports to donors, as well as the implementation of outreach campaigns and other relevant tasks.


  • Draft and edit emails in Uzbek
  • Assist with preparation and implementation of online campaigns, workshops and other online activities
  • Update the staff on the status of the activities and current events
  • Work with the data using Excel sheets and tables
  • Create and update online surveys


  • Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree or recent college graduates in humanities and social studies are preferred
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Experienced and knowledgeable about Uzbekistan
  • Fluency in Uzbek and English is required, Russian is also preferred
  • Excellent writing skills in Uzbek
  • Good knowledge of MS Office required
  • Communications and Online Social Media experience required, experience with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign software is desired
  • Teamwork and ability to collaborate with individuals of diverse backgrounds
