CEO and Co-Founder of AnchorFree Inc. David Gorodyansky has been profiled among America's most promising CEOs by Forbes, selected by Inc. Magazine among the top 30 CEOs under 30 years old, profiled by Fortune, and was named one of the 100 most intriguing entrepreneurs by Goldman Sachs at the annual Builders + Innovators Summit.

Mr. Gorodyansky built AnchorFree from the ground up into a global leader in consumer privacy and cloud security, with more than 250 million users downloading AnchorFree's Hotspot Shield app globally across PCs, Macs, iPhones, iPads, and Android devices. AnchorFree was selected by Forbes as one of America's most promising companies in both 2013 and 2014 and by Business Insider as one of the most important security start-ups of 2013. David has raised $63 million in three venture financing rounds for AnchorFree from blue chip investors including Goldman Sachs, RENN Capital, former CEO of MCI Bert Roberts, former CFO of IBM Doug Maine, founder of Webex Subrah Iyar, and Esther Dyson. AnchorFree's Hotspot Shield has been setting new privacy standards and placing users in control on the Internet.



Mr. Gorodyansky is an active investor and is passionate about start-ups with a social mission focused on solving real-world problems through technology. He is an investor and board member at GlobeIn.com (a global marketplace connecting artisans from remote regions to buyers in the developed world) and Venturocket.com (a start-up connecting job seekers with jobs), an investor at Modern Meadow (a company focused on engineering cultured leather and meat from stem cells to solve global food challenges), and an investor and executive producer for #ChicagoGirl (2013), a documentary about a 19-year-old girl from Syria who, using technology, is helping lead the Syrian revolution from her bedroom in the Chicago suburbs.



Mr. Gorodyansky served on the Technology Expert Council as an adviser to Gavin Newsom, the former mayor of San Francisco. In 2012, Mr. Gorodyansky met with the U.S. Supreme Court justices as part of being selected for an award by the Academy of Achievement. He writes for Forbes Magazine and Inc. Magazine, and speaks on panels on the topics of human rights, user privacy, social business, start-ups, and emerging technologies.
