1. How can I submit a grant application?

2. Does EF support projects not mentioned in their program section?

EF welcomes new opportunities which provide the citizens with the tools to define and achieve outcomes of enduring benefit to their communities.


3. How do you choose the projects and countries you work in? Will EF consider projects outside of the countries where it currently works?

We are open to supporting programs and projects in neighboring countries as appropriate. Inquiries should be sent to programs@eurasia.org.

5. Does EF provide volunteer opportunities?

6. How does EF monitor and evaluate its programs?

EF contracts with external evaluation consultants to ensure the independence of findings. EF staff then shares best practices both within the EF Network and with peer organizations. Evaluation recommendations contribute directly to project improvement by emphasizing learning and accountability. 7. Is EF affiliated with a religious or government organization?

EF is a privately managed non-profit organization supported by the government and other public and private donors. EF has no religious, government or political affiliation.


8. Where does EF get its funding?

EF was created in 1992 with the support of the U.S. government through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to support development projects in the former Soviet Union. Since then, EF has received support from corporations, foundations, international governments and individuals from all over the world to sustain its mission and programs in different countries..
