Since 1993, Eurasia Foundation has invested more than $22 million in Uzbekistan to develop its nonprofit organizations, universities, local government agencies, libraries, and communities.
EF’s current programs in Uzbekistan include:
Launched in 2013, the Online Social Entrepreneurship School links young and aspiring leaders from Uzbekistan and equips them with project management tools to address pressing social needs in their communities like maternal health and pollution. The school offers online courses, as well as an Uzbek-language website for sharing ideas among participants and experts. The school’s experts provide continuous mentoring to participants as they put their projects into motion.
