Course Instructor, Online School for Youth Engagement

EF is seeking an expert to facilitate online courses for a period between three to six weeks on civic youth engagement for a cohort of teachers and educators working in closed societies. The individual should have experience and expertise in ‘training the trainers’ methodology. The expert is responsible for the facilitation of the key concepts of the courses to promote the application of civic engagement and social responsibility in classrooms. 


  • Instruct distance-learning participants for three to six-week courses through online sessions
  • Respond to participants and staff inquiries within a 24- 48 hours period
  • Assist teachers in developing accurate, detailed, engaging and age-appropriate activities and facilitating them in the classroom
  • Seed discussion questions in forums, answer forum questions pro-actively and help teachers by providing advice and resources
  • Introduce additional resources to course participants as secondary reading materials
  • Follow up with participants on their assignments and weekly activities
  • Evaluate the pre and post course exams in order to ascertain the knowledge gained by each course participant
  • Provide an assessment framework for the course, including recommendations for changes in content, structure, and activities



  • Minimum Master’s degree or equivalent in Education or a related area;
  • Strong demonstrated experience and background in education/facilitation and training the trainer methodology;
  • Experience with teaching online learning pedagogy, particularly on social learning and networking in the online format;
  • Ideal candidates have relevant working experience in Farsi/Dari-speaking countries;
  • Fluency in written and spoken Farsi/Dari is required. Fluency in written and spoken English is a plus.
