Eurasia Foundation (EF) is seeking a positive youth development consultant with experience in facilitating study tours to design and help deliver a five-day study tour to the Republic of Georgia in November 2021 focused on youth development for nine young activists (18 to 30 years old) from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The participants will be accompanied by three representatives of EF and Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia (EFCA).

This study tour will be an activity of the Social Innovations in Central Asia (SICA), a five-year initiative funded by USAID and implemented by EF. The goal of SICA is to cultivate a vibrant and responsive civil society in Central Asia. The participants of the study tour are graduates of the SICA Central Asia Youth Leadership Academy (CAYLA), which aims to foster civically responsive young activists of Central Asia.

As part of CAYLA, EF will sponsor a study tour to Georgia for CAYLA graduates to meet regional counterparts, better understand their work, draw lessons applicable to their own country and explore areas of potential cooperation. The tour will be tailored to CAYLA participants’ focus areas, which include social entrepreneurship, youth leadership, media projects, volunteering, gender equality, inclusion, environmental projects, and social innovations hubs.
