Summary

Eurasia Foundation (EF), a US non-profit organization promoting civil society development and good governance, is accepting applications for a Research and Policy Advocacy Expert for an anticipated USAID-funded program that will cultivate a vibrant and responsive citizen-oriented civil society in Central Asia. This position is contingent upon award of the program.
 

Qualifications

  • At least five years of experience supporting research and/or advocacy organizations, preferably as part of an international assistance program
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in developing policy research skills, advocacy for greater public sector transparency and facilitating research networks required
  • Previous experience working in Central Asia
  • Significant experience in facilitating productive exchanges among stakeholders in policymaking, including ministry representatives, parliament, civil society and the private sector
  • Master’s degree in international development, organizational development, public policy or other relevant areas of study               
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English required
  • Knowledge of Russian is required; knowledge of Kazakh, Tajik, Turkmen or Uzbek a plus
