Women’s Rights Advocacy Curriculum Developer, Innovative Training Solutions

Eurasia Foundation (EF) is accepting applications for an expert to develop a curriculum for an online course on advocacy for a cohort of women-centric civil society organizations and women community leaders. EF seeks individuals with experience and expertise in developing practical courses on this subject matter for online e-learning audiences. The expert is responsible for identifying the key concepts of the course, designing and producing the content to promote engagement around advocacy for women’s economic rights and related topics in the classroom.  


  • Design content covering basic and advanced advocacy topics, such as messaging, stakeholder mapping, coalition building, community mobilizing, with the aim of creating an engaging and practical online learning environment; 
  • Determine weekly topics and subtopics and learning goals for each week; 
  • Include real-life examples and case studies to effectively facilitate learning; 
  • Develop supplementary weekly content, including activities, main readings, forum discussions and weekly assignments that will achieve the course’s desired learning outcomes; 
  • Provide clear assignment policies, expectations, and due dates; 
  • Work with the program staff to revise the content as necessary, to ensure that content is clear, technically accurate, and engaging.

• Master’s degree in human rights, gender studies, international relations, communications, public policy or relevant fields required. Experience may substitute for graduate degree; 
• Minimum five years of field experience in advocacy, policy reform, campaigning and/or grassroots organizing and movement building is required; 
• Proven training and facilitation skills in advocacy and community organizing required, curriculum development experience is preferred; 
• Strong communication skills and positive attitude is required; 
• Fluency in written and spoken Farsi/Dari is required. Fluency in written and spoken English is a plus
