EF is recruiting a Human Resources Officer. 

 

The HR Officer will be responsible for general office maintenance and operation, support HR Manager in staff recruitment, employee relations and training, ensuring that all staff across departments work cohesively. The HRO will assist with compliance with labor laws and the consistent development and well-being of staff and company procedures.  

 

This position is open to Ukrainian nationals. Qualified candidates are strongly encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis until the position is filled. This position is contingent upon funding.   

 

DUTIES: 

 

  • Assist HR Manager in preparation and managing employment contracts and agreements;
  • Support HR Manager in coordinating the recruitment and selection processes of qualified applicants (schedule meetings, prepare required internal documentation, follow up with candidates on their recruitment status); 
  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires;
  • Conduct HR metrics;
  • Contribute to the management, mentorship, and support of office staff;
  • Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to EF policies;
  • Coordinate off-site activities when required; 
  • Contribute to annual work plans and program reporting;
  • Other duties as assigned. 

 

Core Qualifications: 

 

  • Master`s degree in HR management, business administration or a relevant field;
  • Minimum of 2 years of general work experience in the HR field;
  • Knowledge of office administration procedures; 
  • Proficiency in MS Office;
  • High level of analytical and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment;
  • A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements;
  • Experience with USAID programs highly desired;
  • Fluency in Ukrainian and English required.
