Eurasia Foundation is actively seeking a qualified individual with expertise in monitoring and evaluating projects related to social empowerment. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in examining program activities, challenges, and operational plans, conducting comprehensive analyses of impacts and objectives, and providing strategic insights for transitional planning.  

 

Essential Functions  

  • Review all program reports and documents to gain a thorough understanding of program activities, challenges, and operational plans. 
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of program impacts, objectives, and activities, with a particular focus on extracting insights and reflections. 
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the program’s online presence and branding strategies  
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations for transitional planning based on analytic findings. 
  • Develop and compile a comprehensive report summarizing the program’s key achievements, challenges, and lessons learned. 
  • Liaise with program staff on design and implementation of the evaluation process; 
  • Serve as a technical expert to conduct data collection activities, including interviews with selected participants and data analysis activities; 
  • Produce a comprehensive analytical report including the following items: 
  • Description of evaluation goals and objectives  
  • Description of the evaluation methodology and data collection tools 
  • Description of the data analysis process 
  • Presentation of the main findings  
  • Presentation of the main conclusions 
  • Presentation of key lessons learned 
  • Programmatic recommendations for EF


Education  

  • Master’s degree in social sciences, international development, or related fields(preferred).  


Qualifications/Experience  

  • Excellent report-writing skills in English. 
  • Familiarity with principles-focused or experimental evaluations desirable; 
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; 
  • Team player with the ability to closely collaborate with DC-based staff, partners, and stakeholders; 
  • Relevant work experience with training programs, preferably online programs;  
  • Minimum 4–6 years of experience in designing, overseeing, and implementing project M&E or combination of education, training and experience;
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative M&E data collection and analysis methods;
  • Relevant work experience with educational programs, preferably online programs. 
  • Expertise in monitoring and evaluating projects related to social empowerment.
