EF is recruiting for an Senior Business Digitalization Coordinator. 

 

The Senior Business Digitalization Coordinator (SBDC) will play a pivotal role in supporting the Senior Business Digitalization Manager in the analysis, development, and implementation of initiatives to drive Ukraine's economic revitalization and digital transformation. This role focuses on coordinating complex projects, managing stakeholder relations, and contributing to the strategic development of regulatory processes that enhance SME growth and business deregulation efforts.  

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

 

  • Assist the Senior Business Digitalization Manager in leading the digital transformation of market access regulations and business registration processes.
  • Coordinate efforts to review regulatory instruments, identify priority areas for digital transformation, and develop proposals for reform.
  • Act as a key liaison between the Senior Business Digitalization Manager and government entities, SMEs, and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and progress on deregulation and digitalization projects.
  • Support the analysis of business registration services, identifying opportunities for transformation into eServices, and contribute to the reduction of administrative burdens on businesses.
  • Provide project management support, including organizing meetings, preparing reports, and ensuring timely delivery of initiatives.
  • Facilitate the development of digital tools such as the State Service of Ukraine on Food Safety and Consumer Protection reform and other projects, aiding in the shift towards risk-based inspections of businesses.
  • Participate in cross-departmental collaboration, assisting in aligning project execution with DTA’s broader goals and coordinating with the program management office to track progress and resolve issues.
  • Engage with SMEs and business associations to identify key regulatory challenges and propose solutions to enhance business operations and compliance through digitalization.
  • Help monitor project outcomes, evaluate impacts, and provide regular reports on the progress of regulatory and digitalization initiatives.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Experience with regulatory frameworks and digital governance in Ukraine, especially in the context of SME support and anti-corruption efforts.
  • Previous experience working in a leadership or coordination role during ongoing conflict situations or in challenging environments. 
  • At least 4 years of experience in business development, regulatory reform, or digital transformation, with a focus on supporting SMEs or economic revitalization projects. 
  • Familiarity with the digitalization of regulatory processes and the development of eServices or risk management systems is preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of market access regulations and digital transformation, with experience in project management, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory process improvement. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, public policy, or a related field; an advanced degree or certifications would be advantageous.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and within a team, taking initiative and ensuring project goals are met efficiently. 
  • Fluency in Ukrainian and English required.
