Overview
Eurasia Foundation (EF) is seeking consultants to carry out technical assignments on donor-funded programs. Consultants will be contracted to work under existing projects or offered future assignments that are contingent upon award. EF will accept applications and conduct interviews on a rolling basis, and successful applicants will be added to a roster for upcoming assignments. EF is looking for experts in a variety of fields, including but not limited to:
- Digital governance
- Anti-corruption
- Civil society
- Countering trafficking in persons (TIP)
- Gender-based violence prevention
- Human rights and rule of law
- Independent media
- Business development
Essential Function
Consultants will be asked to serve as experts in a technical field and perform a variety of tasks. Sample assignments may involve designing training curricula/materials, providing technical assistance to government officials, conducting assessments, serving a mentorship role to civil society organizations and/or activists, and more. Travel may be required for some assignments.
Education & Qualifications
- 5 or more years of experience conducting technical assistance or consulting roles in the respective field
- Mid to Senior level roles in non-profit or development organizations
- Experience with aid programs funded by the USG, EU and/or UN
- Experience interacting with government officials in developing contexts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
- Knowledge of Russian, Spanish, Arabic, Farsi or French is preferred but not required and won’t be a determining criterion for selection.
